In Our Spare Time...

Project Description

Password management is admittedly a crowded space. If you want to store your passwords in the cloud, there are quite a number of well-reviewed applications available (Dashlane and 1Password come to mind). However when Google Glass came out, we couldn’t resist the temptation.

Our idea is to create a secure web-based password management application, which we could query using the Glass display (“OK Glass, GlassPass Facebook”). This would allow us to set extremely complex passwords for our favorite websites, and retrieve the password just-in-time. We’re calling it “GlassPass,” which rhymes, and makes us happy.

It’s an interesting project, with a number of fun problems to solve related to encryption and data confidentiality. Wearable head’s up displays are obviously in their infancy, but Google Glass is a cool toy, and we’re having fun playing with the tech.
